POLOTMAVÝ
Czech Amber Lager || 4.2% || Czech Mug || 11° P
Taste: Toast, Caramel, bread
Notes: Polotmavy is Czech for “half-dark,” this 11° Plato Czech Amber Lager is brewed with Czech floor malted pils Vienna and Munich malts for notes of toast, caramel and bread. Czech Sladek hops balance out the malt and provide a spicy finish. This beer also undergoes a unique mashing schedule known as an enhanced double decoction for a more complex malt flavor. ČERNÉ PIVO
Czech Black Lager || 4.5% || Czech Mug || 12° P
Taste: Cacao, Toasted Dark Bread, Dry Finish
Notes: Cerne is Czech for “black”. This cold weather cult classic has toasty and slightly roasted malt character. Notes of dark chocolate and coffee make this beer perfect for a chilly evening. Double decocted, open fermented, naturally carbonated, lagered forever.

Bavarian Helles || 4.5% || 0.5L Willi Becher
Taste: Bright, Clean, Subtle Sweetness
Notes: A classic style from Munich, and what the Bavarians created after the Czech’s discovered Pilsner. Less hoppy than the Pilsner, Helles is malt driven and the flavor is clean and bright.
Vienna Lager
Austrian Amber Lager || 4.5% || 0.5L Willi Becher
Taste: Toast, Caramel, Pepper
Notes: Brewer and Vienna native Anton Dreher has been credited as the founder of the Vienna Lager style. He created what is now known as Vienna malt and used this in the Vienna beer. Austrian’s took this style of beer to Mexico in the late 19th century where it has greatly influenced their beers.
Sticke Altbier
Strong Dusseldorf-style Altbier || 6.9% || 0.25L Altbier glass
Taste: Malty, Caramel, Toast
Notes: Sticke Bier is a name given to a strong dry-hopped version of the top-fermented Dusseldorf-style Altbier, generally described as being higher in alcohol and more assertive in character than the traditional version.
ALTBIER
Dusseldorf-style Altbier || 4.5% || 0.5L Willi Becher
Taste: Malt, Caramel, Toast
Notes: An ale fermented like a lager (long, slow, and cold) delivers a snappy bitterness with rounded notes of dark crusty bread and caramel. Sweet vanilla notes balance earthy bitterness, giving this beer a unique layered flavor.
ZWICKEL BIER
Bavarian Pale Lager || 4.5% || Willi Becher
Taste: Zesty, Bready, Floral
Notes: An unfiltered Bavarian pale lager traditionally served with a slight haze direct from the lagering tank. Hopped with Spalt, this beer displays a nice balance of malt sweetness and hop bite. Notes of lemon and citrus, supported by a bready, light body.
SMALL BEER
Bavarian Small Beer || 3.1% || Willi Becher
Taste: Caramel, Coffee, molasses
Notes: A small beer often refers to a brewing technique where the last runnings from a mash of stronger beer is collected to ferment a lighter, lower-alcohol beer. In our case we used the last runnings of our 8% ABV Doppelbock Loggerhead, and were able to collect enough wort for a finished beer of 3.1% ABV.
THE BLACK LODGE
Dunkel Rauchbier || 4.5% || 0.5L Willi Becher
Taste: Beechwood Smoke, Malt, Toffee
Notes: A traditional smoked lager modeled after the smoked beers of Bamberg using rauch (smoked) malt. Beechwood smoke is used to dry the barley during malting, resulting in a smoky aroma and hint of smoke in the flavor. Single decocted, spunded and lagered forever. The Black Lodge is the perfect balance between the malt and smoke with medium hop bitterness and a clean lager fermentation character.

THE DECLINE

Taste: Piny, Citrus, Stone Fruit
Notes: A classic west coast IPA brewed with american pilsner barley, hopped with Citra in the brewhouse and dry hopped with New Zealand hops Motueka and Riwaka. Golden color, bright aromas of stone fruits, berries, pine and flavors of lemon zest, citrus pith and subtle tropical fruit undertones.

Taste: Caramel Nuts, Bisquit, Toasted Malt
Notes: A rarely found style originating from Nuremberg in Franconia. The red color comes from the unique Franconian malt, as well as an extended decoction and wort boiling. Double decocted, naturally carbonated, and conditioned in horizontal lagering tanks for two months.

Notes: The Crow uses the Valley’s Standard Pilsner malt and Vienna Maize. The Vienna Maize is what gives the Crow its golden hue and brings a subtle biscuit-y sweetness. We enjoy the depth of flavor and versatility that corn brings to our beers. We also dry hop the Crow post fermentation and at a lower temperature with Crystal hops which have an earthy, woody spice and subtle floral notes.

German Afternoons has an upfront malt fullness that quickly leads to a pleasant drying balanced bitterness. The floral hop aroma comes from Notch's favorite German variety - Spalter Select. Named for the John Prine album, a German Afternoon is a spontaneous afternoon spent enjoying yourself, with a beer or two, instead of doing the errands or chores you "should" be doing.

TAP ROOM:
Full pours for on-site consumption (1/4 liter, 1/2 liter and liters) and cans to go. Communal tables, counter and table service, it's a place to socialize with friends or meet new ones.
BIERGARTEN:
Open year-round (snow, sun, whatever), our 2000 sq ft Biergarten has a seating capacity of 200. Heaters in the winter, umbrellas in the summer, as well as additional seating on the harborwalk.
BREWERY:
We hope that our brewery will provide customers a way to see the unique brewing processes and equipment we use - a traditional decoction brew-house, open and closed fermentation, horizontal lagering tanks, German gravity cask dispensing, and a draft system imported from the Czech Republic – tools, process and equipment that will allow a wide variety of session beer (and occasionally non-session beer) to be produced.
