SALEM TAP ROOm MaNAGER - FUll TIME
Position Summary:
The Tap Room Manager is responsible for the daily operation of the taproom, biergarten and kitchen, while providing a positive customer experience that accurately represents the Notch Brewery. The Tap Room Manager reports directly to the Tap Room GM (General Manager),
Essential Functions:
Manage daily operation of Notch Biergarten, Taproom and Kitchen
Supervise, support, and train Notch staff to maintain a positive work environment
Perform open and closing manager duties
Lock / unlock site, cash handling, cleanliness of taproom & biergarten, maintenance of brewery and cold box, employee tip distribution, conduct pre shift meetings with staff
Inventory Management
Planning and execution of special events, executing private booked events
Maintain accuracy of menus and website offerings
Liaison between Notch and community vendors
Knowledge of current products, new beers and upcoming relevant special events
Handle conflict resolution with staff, customers, vendors, and others as needed
Serving beer/non-alcoholic beverages to customers
Relay pertinent information to management team through end of day notes
Essential Knowledge, Skills & Experience:
TIPS Certification, Serve Safe Certification
Past restaurant, bar, or brewery experience preferred
Passion for craft beer, music, and community
Meets state minimum age to serve alcohol (18)
Positive, engaging personality and professional appearance
Basic math and computer skills
Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
Strong task and time management abilities
Ability to work independently, as well as lead, manage and motivate a team
Ability to work on weekends, evenings, and some holidays
A positive and empathetic team-building approach to the daily interaction with employees, to foster a positive working environment.
Willingness to roll up their sleeves and work alongside the team when necessary

Compensation:
$25 - $27 per hour depending on experience
Bonus program averaging $8000 per year
