We're excited to go back to Powisset Farm for a gorgeous fall weekend!
Friday night features one of Powisset Farm's delicious farm dinners with Mother's Moustache, an acoustic ensemble that sets the perfect mood for your night. Tickets are available for this multi-course meal, through Powisset's webpage, so make sure you reserve yours before they sell-out!
If you want to bring your own food to Powisset, please do; our biergarten will be available for dinner-goers and the general public alike.
About Powisset Farm: This 108-acre property has a long history of agricultural enterprises, from a dairy farm many years ago, to Amelia Peabody’s legendary farm, famous for its breed stock of Hereford cattle and Yorkshire pigs. Many visitors remember fondly the glowing green pastures dotted with cattle and framed by beautiful barns. The Trustees began farming for their CSA program in 2007, growing vegetables, herbs and flowers for their own CSA program as well as a farm stand open three days a week in the summer. Powisset Farm also offers Powisset Cooks, an ongoing series of culinary education workshops and farm dinners, as well as making weekly donations to five local hunger relief partners.
The Trustees is a non-profit that preserves, for public use and enjoyment, properties of exceptional scenic, historic, and ecological value in Massachusetts. Their network of over 100 farms, historic homes, and wooded areas spans from The Berkshires to the Cape and Islands and everywhere in between.
